For your consideration is ONE (1) uber rare, original vintage Eames Herman Miller Eames Girard La Fonda blue naugahyde upholstered parchment fiberglass armchair.

All-original vintage and highly collectible. So much so that the La Fonda chair is in the permanent collection of the world's top museums, including LACMA. Alexander Girard designed every piece of the La Fonda del Sol restaurant, from tableware to chairs.

Blue Eames chairs are among the most coveted, and the La Fonda style is seldom seen in this color.

This blue color naugahyde La Fonda is extremely rare.

Stunning chair with a sleek silhouette.

The blue is vibrant and cool and will surely punch up any room.

Looks gorgeous from every angle.

"Herman Miller" embossed on the bottom of the cream parchment fiberglass armshell.

Overall good vintage condition with age appropriate wear, notably minor seam separation on the back of the seat of the naugahyde shell and some stains as well as some abrasions and impressions on the naugahyde, the latter of which should go away in time. Already depicted and reflected in the price.

The seat cushion is still soft and not petrified like most vintage chairs, and there are no cracks to the shell.

The chrome base has heavy pitting and oxidation and is missing two glides. New glides are available for sale elsewhere.
