Condition:
This Cleveland Kettle is in EXCEPTIONAL condition both functionally and cosmetically. It has been cleaned, serviced and tested and functions 100% with no issues whatsoever. It was acquired from a local school system and although it was installed at a school, according to the kitchen manager, it was never used. It was also maintained under a service agreement so twice per year it was gone through and made sure that it was functioning up to manufacturers specifications by a qualified technician.
Description:
Because it's self-locking, the Cleveland KGL-40-TSH steam kettle's tilting mechanism remains in place to facilitate serving product. Large batches and bulky product are dispensed from the kettle using a large pouring lip. For security, the flanged feet can be bolted down and adjusted to enable installation on uneven floors. The solid-state temperature controls are splashproof and feature temperature and low-water controls. To inform users of heat cycle settings and the water level, the unit includes LED indicator lights.
The Cleveland KGL-40-TSH tilting kettle has a 40-gallon capacity. Its full steam jacket design enables uniform heating of soup, stew, and chili, producing product without hot or cold spots. Durable to support high-volume use, this unit is made of stainless steel that won't rust, corrode, warp, or dent. The steam jacket is permanently filled with distilled water that's treated for sanitary cooking. This natural gas unit operates at 140,000 BTU.
