PLEASE READ: the instructions will have you install the brakes European/Asian-style instead of US-style (i.e. right brake is for front wheel instead of back wheel and left brake is back wheel). You can either get used to it or just flip the brake/gears and put them on the other side, which is what i did with a similar bike. The gears will then go the other way than you'd expect but I got used to that in about 5 minutes.
I just don't want anyone dying in an emergency stopping situation and only squeeze the right brake and go flying over the handlebars. But if you brake with both hands or switch them or just get used to the way it is, you'll be fine.
