Specializing in a centuries-old traditional style of Venetian bookbinding and publication of quality handcrafted, rare and limited, first edition leather-bound Book of Shadows and Grimoire pertaining to the occult and esoteric theology, demonology and witchcraft; focused on demons of the ARS Goetia, The Lesser Key of Solomon, Jacques Collin de Plancy’s Dictionnaire Infernal, Dante Alighieri's Inferno, The Grand Grimoire, Grimorium Verum, and Novem Portis, better known as
The Nine Gates to the Kingdom of Shadows.
My goal was and remains in part to bring ancient occult texts in literature back into print correctly, bound in such a manner which exemplifies each text.
Translations are completed with the utmost care in obtaining and retaining accuracy.
Each original copperplate and woodcut engraving is scanned in at the highest resolution possible (typically around 4K to 8K). Then each plate undergoes a 1-2 day proccess of "scrubbing" at 800-1600 times magnification. This results in the highest level of clarity for each illustration.
I strive constantly to convey the utmost level of quality possible; to create tomes which stand out as being significantly above the average available.
No machinery is used when crafting my books.
Everything is done meticulously by hand using old world style, traditional craftsmanship and each book is therefore unique.
