The Stone Horse 23 Owner is a full keel flush deck, twin head sail sloop based on a Sam Crocker design from 1931. The Stonehorse has been recreated in low maintenance modern airex-cored fiberglass. This well built seaworthy vessel weighs 4490 pounds and features 2000 pounds of lead encapsulated ballast in the keel annd has an LOA of 28 feet. It is manufactured by Edey & Duff in Massachusetts. Only 150 were made and there are only a few in California. It has been re-powered with a Betamarine 14 diesel with less than 220 hours. Excellent painted mast and boom, good rigging, recently replaced halyards. Very good tanbark sails with extra main and two yankees. New wet exhaust, new v-berth cushions, new cockpit cushions. Heavy duty tandem axle road trailer included. In the water in San Diego. Very pretty boat that gets lots of compliments and is fun to sail.
