The Snowball Party — “treasure hunt where the prize is the people that you
meet” — is structured as follows. A set number of people are invited (32, 64, 96)
and each attendee or “Snowballer” meets a fellow Snowballer at a location texted
just hours before. There, they do something fun, have some food or beverage
(could be just water). After 30 minutes, each duo is sent to another location
where they meet with another pair. Thus, groups of four are formed. Each
foursome spends a window of time together doing something fun/crazy/having
some food or drink, before rolling into another foursome, becoming 8. The 8's
become 16; the 16's become 32; the 32's become 64 and so on and so forth. The
human alchemy climaxes to a moment where one half the event meets the other
half of the event and it all “snowballs” together.
The Snowball has a proven track record in Los Angeles and Colorado, as a
socially important event.
