compensation: $2500 to $3000

Looking for qualified and experienced film editor to help edit a short film that just wrapped filming.

I am a director who just finished a 20 minute short film shot in Berlin, Germany. It is a modern day version of Dante’s Inferno told in the setting of a kidnapping of a woman at a multilevel underground nightclub in 1989 Berlin, after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The film is a psychological thriller that will be submitted to major European and American film festivals. Film was shot in 4K Arri Alexa and has several known actors in it.

The editor who was originally set to work on the project had to back out as he is still working on two features and can’t commit time wise to another project.

I am looking for an editor who is not too busy with other projects and can commit to helping out with this short film. I am trying to have at least a rough cut for the Venice Film Festival in Italy and the deadline for that is 3 weeks.

Compensation for this gig would be between $2500 to $3000 for the project, beginning to end. Running time should be about 18 to 20 minutes.

If interested please respond with a CV of previous work. Again, most important thing is you have time to commit to the project ASAP. I am based in both Los Angeles and Seattle. I can share details about the project after you respond with a resume of your past work. If you could provide a website or IMDB page of your past work that would be great.

Basically we finished principal photography just a few days ago and the producer and I are looking for a qualified editor to work on this ASAP.
