Our agency has been serving the trucking industry for many years and is excited to announce the opening of more positions for its trucking license and permits department. This is a part time position; 20-25 hours a week, Monday through Friday.
We are looking for candidates with knowledge and experience in any of the following: vehicle registration service, DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) forms, practices and procedures, Trucking Permits including motor carrier permits, apportioned plates, IFTA’s and DOT regulations.
This candidate will assist in processing DMV transactions and permits directly with the customers using in-house software, keep track of DMV inventory and order more from DMV as required.
In-person position; fully onsite, no remote or hybrid.
Extensive training in our processes and systems will be provided.
Duties
• Extensive phone and email communication with clients, service providers and regulatory agencies.
• Follow up with our customers’ inquiries and provide information about the vehicle registration transactions and trucking permits.
• Adhere to government regulations, policies and established procedures
• Handles questions, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Obtain state permits for our clients such as USDOT, CA #, and other operating permits
• Complete logs and update software as required
• The position requires the person to sit at a desk and interact with customers in person, email and telephone.
Qualifications
• Minimum High School Diploma. College education is a plus.
• At least ONE year of vehicle registration, DMV transactions, trucking permits experience (Preferable)
• Bilingual English-Spanish
• Highly proficient computer and internet skills. MS Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
