This car in very good condition looking for a new home. If you’ve come across this post, you know what you’re looking for (I won’t bore you with the basics).
Reason for selling is I do not have time to enjoy the car. This Reatta has spent its entire life in the greater Los Angeles area. Purchased earlier this year from the daughter of the deceased owner, he stopped driving circa 2002 (soon after he bought the car) due to health issues. But he maintained this car as a back-up should his children or grandchildren need a car while their daily driver was in for service.
-Original paint
-OEM floor mats
-No warning lights on IP
-ABS works (no problems)
-No windshield cracks
-Headliner in great condition.
-Dash in terrific condition
-Engine pulls strong.
-Smooth shifting transmission.
-Taillights are clear (and no cracks).
-Front headlight motors work.
-All exterior bulbs (including new Silverstar headlights) have been replaced.
-Exterior received a complete detail (from clay to multiple coats of Meguire’s polish).
-Clean Carfax and AutoCheck reports.
Things I would DIY if keeping the car
-Replace the radio. The volume control is temperamental. When increasing volume, sound may
decrease (a renewed radio comes with purchase).
-Need to program FOB for automatic opening/closing of doors and trunk.
-There is a slight tear in the driver’s side door panel I would repair.
-Horn works intermittently (I think the horn needs to be replaced)
-There is a scratch on the driver’s door that is a DIY repair.
-Glove box trunk release does not always work.
Things new within the past 800 miles:
-New Kumho tires
-New AC clutch & compressor (and system charged)
-New rear brakes (fronts have 70% remaining life)
-New hood struts
-New TPS and IAC
