Despite the power amplifier delivering a true 70W+70W RMS power into 8 ohms, no compromises had been made elsewhere in the amplifier. True to the Cyrus tradition, the chassis also houses a traditionally designed power supply featuring an oversize 330VA power transformer and extra-large electrolytic reservoir capacitors. Dual charge pumps and linear post-regulators increase the voltage and stabilise the power supply available for the voltage amplifier stage.
