The Addictions Research Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at UCLA is looking for individuals age 21 to 50 who drink alcohol regularly (but are not interested in receiving treatment) to participate in a study investigating whether negative mood in withdrawal predicts treatment response. Eligible participants will be asked to take study medication (ibudilast or placebo) for 14 days, attend 3 in-person study visits at UCLA which includes one brain imaging scan, and complete brief surveys about their current mood, behaviors, and experiences daily through an online survey.
Participants will be compensated up to $350 for participation.
