We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Photographer/Videographer who is passionate about visual storytelling, events, and social media content creation.
This unpaid apprenticeship is a hands-on learning opportunity for someone who wants real-world experience capturing events, celebrities, models, and other high-profile subjects in Los Angeles.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Attend red carpet events, industry mixers, and other high-profile functions
- Capture photos and video of events, guests, and branded environments
- Assist with editing photos and video for social media, advertising, and marketing content
- Learn how to shoot for step-and-repeats, live events, and promotional campaigns
- Use professional camera equipment provided during the apprenticeship
This role is ideal for someone who wants strong portfolio material and real event experience, rather than a classroom-only path.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with photo and video coverage at events (evenings and some weekends)
- Help organize, select, and edit content for Instagram, TikTok, Reels, and other platforms
- Support basic production tasks: charging batteries, managing memory cards, light setup, etc.
- Maintain a professional, respectful presence around guests and talent
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong interest in photography, videography, and social media content
- Basic understanding of cameras and editing software is helpful (but not required)
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable in fast-paced event environments
- Based in the Los Angeles area with your own transportation
- 18+ preferred (due to venue and event requirements)
Compensation & Details:
- This is an unpaid apprenticeship (no hourly pay or salary)
- Professional camera equipment will be provided for use during events
- Flexible, project-based schedule – primarily evenings and weekends
- Great opportunity to build a portfolio, industry exposure, and practical experience
