Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 8AM–2PM (or 7AM–1PM if preferred)
Pay: $20–$24/hr, based on experience
Le Coupé is a chef-driven, scratch Southern kitchen located in Los Angeles — known for our fried chicken.We’re looking for a dedicated morning prep cook to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in precision, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
• Bread all chicken for daily service
• Butcher and portion cases of chicken
• Marinate chicken according to house recipe
• Prepare sauces completely from scratch (must follow recipes exactly)
• Cut and prep slaw, peel and cut corn, and assist with other prep
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Follow all Department of Health and safety standards
Qualifications
• Strong knife skills required — this is not an entry-level position
• Prior experience in a chef-driven scratch kitchen
• Available Wednesday–Sunday mornings (weekend availability required)
• Must speak and understand some basic English
• Able to follow detailed instructions and recipes with precision
• Works well as part of a small, tight-knit team
• Reliable, communicative, and consistent
