We are a fast-growing family-owned company focused on producing premium, authentic pasta that brings the taste of Italy to an American audience. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Pasta Maker to join our team in our Manufacturing Facility.
As a Pasta Maker, you will play a vital role in producing fresh pasta from scratch, ensuring every batch meets our high standards of quality and taste. You will work in our dynamic, fast-paced Manufacturing Facility, contributing to the production of a variety of pasta shapes and sizes, from traditional favorites to innovative new products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, dedication to quality, technical ability, and a passion for food.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and mix ingredients for fresh pasta dough according to company recipes and specifications.
- Operate pasta-making machines to roll, cut, and shape dough into various pasta forms.
- Produce high-quality pasta at scale, and maintain and repair all equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized, as well as properly functioning.
- Ensure the quality of pasta meets company standards for texture, taste, and appearance.
- Monitor pasta production processes and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist in packaging, labeling, and preparing pasta for shipping and distribution.
- Follow all safety and food safety guidelines in the Manufacturing Facility.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including safety, health, and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, FDA, and USDA).
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a fresh pasta maker in a culinary environment.
- ServSafe certification (or equivalent food safety certification).
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40+ lbs.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new pasta-making techniques, equipment, and machinery.
