The manager will work alongside our FOH team to execute service, as well as use the quieter time in the afternoon to complete admin tasks. We are open from noon-9pm during the week, and noon-10pm on the weekend. We're very lucky to have a dedicated FOH and BOH team, both of whom interact with our guests, who understand the importance of a great tone for the atmosphere in the restaurant, and we're looking for a manager who is interested in helping set the vibe.
As a new restaurant, it's imperative that we treat all our guests like they could be our best regular, as we never know who might be. We want a manager who is friendly, interested in cultivating regulars, and excited about community building. You'll get to work closely with the individuals who own the restaurant, while also having the autonomy to make your own decisions. Your admin responsibilities will include ordering, inventory, scheduling and payroll.
We're the team behind neighborhood favorites Covell, Augustine, Sushi Note and others (check out our website at drumm.la). At all our places we strive to create a positive and respectful work environment, geared towards retaining staff for years. We want team members who are interested in growing the business with us.
While we would love to hire someone who has experience leading a team, we're also very open to training someone who has minimal management experience but is curious about learning more. Regardless of your past roles, we want this one to be one in which you can grow and develop new skills. Some proficiency in Spanish is not required, but is a plus.
