This chair As -is valued at $15k, by local antiquerian, IF I had paperwork from 1800s. (I dont)
I was told this chair is hard to find in original condition.
I will be unable to show for 12 - 10 weeks. Maybe i can arrange to have someone show. weeks. if u r interested, please contact. I bought this at an estate years ago. I was going to retie the springs and; Recover seat tecently, with black chenille (I may still do it so I can use it again).
Retying springs is normal after so many years. Strong comfy chair. I spent hours on laptol in this chair. Original finish and tapestry on the back oval, seat is 23 inches, cabriole legs, seats low to the ground. I am sure this was meant for a lady to seat with skirts. The oval seat is 23 inch wide X 21", oval top is 21 X 22 inch, original tapestry,on the back is plain black, solid frame original finish. 17 inch high seat. Overall 37 inch high.
