A pair of solid teak slat back dining chairs by Kai Kristiansen, made in Denmark by Schou Andersen c. 1980s.
These chairs feature a high, curved back that extends below the seat like a tailcoat. The curvature provides a perfect amount of lumbar support and looks beautiful in profile. The front legs feature a rounded rectangular taper, complimenting the soft edges everywhere else in the chair. Details like sculpted arms and their seamless finger joints showcase Danish design and craftsmanship.
