I have approximately 50 Natural Spring self watering pots. They were used in the interior plant industry many years ago. They were an industry standard for many years. Most are perfectly functional, some need minor gluing or rubber stoppers. The great thing about them is that in addittion to watering plants and trees correctly (allows water to be released only when dry enough), they also can be easily painted. (just use spray paint from Home Depot) and can be any color you want. They are also light weight and made of durable plastic. So, they water your plant and can be painted to match your decor. Must buy entire batch, shown in picture. Total cost is $200.
Finally, tthey can also be used as planters without the self watering function. paint them any color or nmot. Set the plant inside wihout even taking out of the nursery pot, or take out of nursery pot and plant them directly. Air in side walls keeps the soil aerated.
