We are seeking compassionate and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential 1:1 support to adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities, assisting them in developing life skills, achieving personal goals, and enhancing their community integration. Your work will directly impact the quality of life for the individuals we serve.
Starting salary: $20.00/hr
Up to 35 hrs/week
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized 1:1 training in daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, hygiene), social skills, and community integration.
- Implement program curricula and directly assist clients in achieving their Individualized Program Plan (IPP) objectives.
- Maintain accurate data and documentation on client progress, this includes charting activities after each shift.
- Foster a safe, supportive environment that promotes independence and choice.
CA State Requirements Include:
State Background Check (LiveScan) (WE REIMBURSE)
Negative TB Test (WE REIMBURSE)
CPR/First Aid certified (WE REIMBURSE)
Successful completion of these requirements ARE required before you begin working with clients.
