What is Micro-Abrasive Blasting?
Micro-abrasive blasting is a deceptively simple process. Often compared to a miniature precision sandblaster, Comcoʼs MicroBlasters® work by uniformly mixing clean, dry air with abrasive particles as small as 17.5 microns. The mixture is then propelled out of a nozzle tip at high velocity resulting in an abrasive stream that is tightly focused and easy to control. The type of abrasive, air pressure, and size of the nozzle opening makes it easy to keep these factors constant – delivering a high degree of repeatability with every blast. Micro-abrasive blasting is both cost effective and environmentally friendly.
Clearview Workstation Model # WS6000-1
The Comco 'Clearview' Workstation is the most popular micro blasting cabinet. Designed to offer a clear, well-lit workstation with plenty of space for working on small to medium-sized parts, yet compact and designed to allow controlled airflow through the cabinet to ensure that your abrasive powder ends up in your dust extractor, not in the room.
A large hinged window provides operators with ample visibility, and the two fluorescent lamps clearly illuminate any parts, also helping to reduce shadowing.
The handholes are ergonomically angled and spaced to allow operators comfort when using the system for extended periods of time.
The Clearview abrasive blast cabinet measures 406mm wide x 406mm deep x 355mm high (external) 16" x 16" x 14".
Internal workspace dimensions are 381mm wide x 305mm deep x 280mm high. 15" x 12" x 11".
