Job Title: Training Coordinator
Location: Irwindale CA
Job Type: Full-Time | Overtime | 6-7 am start shift
Pay rate: DOE $17 - $27
Description
Delivers training to new and existing employees.
Develops and delivers industrial training programs focused on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, safety procedures, and compliance.
Designs hands-on training sessions to support workforce development in industrial and operational environments.
Develops training documentation and collateral, including but not limited to manuals, training guides, FAQs, operational training, surveys, certification programs, etc.
Conducts skill gap assessments to determine training needs, including those specific to industrial and technical roles.
Works with Customer Service Leadership and Manufacturing Leadership to deliver requested training support, including plant floor and equipment-based training.
Deliver presentations and training to diverse audiences across operational and industrial departments.
Translates complex technical and industrial topics into clear, accessible content for the intended audience.
Schedules training and documents training completion, including industrial safety and compliance training sessions.
Collaborates with management and subject matter experts to develop training materials, collateral, guides, and industrial work instructions.
Responsible for tracking, updating, and uploading all training-related documents onto SharePoint.
Manages the training request database and training disposition, including managing the training calendar and industrial training schedules.
Updates and develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in English and Spanish.
Enter training records into the database.
Prepares and organizes training materials based on department-specific and industrial training needs.
Manages the Training Repository — inventories and controls training materials (PPTs, documents, videos, etc.), including industrial safety and process documentation.
Maintains the SOP repository and software through the SharePoint database.
Performs other related duties as required
Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:
Excellent presentation, motivational and people skills
Working Knowledge of In-Design, Acrobat DC, Photoshop
Bilingual communication skills English and Spanish
Able to communicate with all levels staff
Able to partner with management to ensure that training goals are accomplished
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Proficient in Word, Power Point and Excel
Flexible working hours to ensure training for all shifts
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to assess training needs and evaluate learning outcomes effectively.
