Looking for reliable part-time help testing audio equipment. We're a busy audio reseller in Compton with 5-10 hours/week available immediately.
The Gig:
Power on audio gear (amps, subs, soundbars, headphones, turntables), follow a simple checklist, document results in a spreadsheet. That's it. No prior experience needed.
Details:
What We Test:
Powered amplifiers, subwoofers, soundbars, headphones, turntables — all open-box condition. Each item takes 10-20 minutes to test.
Your Job:
Power it on
Check connections & basic function
Listen for issues (distortion, dead channels, etc.)
Mark PASS or FAIL in our spreadsheet
Move to next item
About You:
Tech-savvy / comfortable with electronics
Detail-oriented (you notice when things don't work)
Reliable (consistent hours)
Can follow a checklist
Honest/meticulous work
No Special Skills Needed:
Don't need audio background, electrical cert, or prior testing experience. We train.
