Is your child struggling with math or English? Do you want them to build confidence and improve their grades, but aren’t sure where to turn?
I can help. My name is Gena, and I’m a senior at Southern California University of Health Sciences, majoring in biomedical sciences. I have a strong academic background and years of experience tutoring middle school and high school students in Math, Algebra, English, and Reading Comprehension.
What makes my tutoring different? I know that every student is unique — what works for one child may not work for another. That’s why I personalize each session, focusing on your child’s individual strengths, challenges, and goals. Whether your student needs help catching up, wants to get ahead, or needs tailored support for homework, term papers, or test preparation, I adapt to fit their needs.
My tutoring is:
One-on-one — your child gets my full attention every session.
Flexible — I’ll work with your schedule, including evenings or weekends.
Supportive — I’m friendly, patient, understanding, and aim to make learning less stressful and more rewarding.
Goal-oriented — we’ll set clear objectives so you can actually measure progress.
As a future medical student specializing in pediatrics, I genuinely care about helping young people succeed — not just academically, but personally. I believe in motivating students with encouragement, accountability, and efficient study habits that create results.
If you’re a parent looking for a tutor who will care about your student, listen, and make a real difference, reach out today. I’m happy to answer your questions, share references from other families, and discuss how we can give your student the support they deserve. All profits will go as donations to my nonprofit organization that help medically fragile children achieve their academic goals and support parents through their child's illness. You will be able to receive a tax deduction for your donation.
You can contact me at (424)312-4280 by text or by email to get started or learn more. Let’s give your child an edge in school — and help them enjoy the journey!
