Hi! I'm a yoga instructor who gained qualifications in India and in the Philippines. I teach Ashtanga (basic practice), Power yoga, Vinyasa Flow and gentle yoga practice (relaxation Yoga), breathing and meditation practice. Part of what I've learned is to correct posture and adjusting the positioning of poses. Doing yoga is great for any fitness routine, but especially when recovering from injury. As a yoga teacher with experience teaching students with lower back problems and spine surgery post-op, I've seen firsthand how the practice can expedite recovery. Simple yoga poses focusing on the back and core muscles will help to heal your back, then gradually progressing to strength and flexibility when you get your back muscles stronger.
