I purchased this motorcycle in Los Angeles in 2003. Maintenance records date back for the life of ownership which now is about 22 years. This BMW started its life as an R60/5 and has been modified with a motor swap with an R90/6 motor and carburetors. The top end of the R90 motor was completely rebuilt, including a new R90s cam and valves, the flywheel was lightened during this time. All parts, labor, and costs are itemized in records.
The motorcycle is in very good working order. Power delivery is excellent, shifting is smooth, clutch has lots of life left, brakes have been recently refreshed, and the tires have approximately 75% tread remaining. This BMW is offered with a set of krauser bags, toolkit, maintenance records, and a clear CA title.
