Qualifications
1) Positive attitude that can work within and support a team

3) Adaptable to work assignments and is open to cross training for various tasks
4) Physical coordination to handle frequent movements and adjustments to equipment processes, on your feet for long periods, walking frequently, frequent lifting up to 50#, pushing/ pulling heavy loads,
squatting, stooping, bending, looking and inspecting fine details of products & tools using eye sight & glass loups.
5) US Citizen or Green Card holder, this is required for US Government related work meeting ITAR requirements
6) Capable of handling a noisy open shop environment dealing with temperatures fluctuations similar to outside conditions
Production Operators are responsible for performing assigned production tasks. Starts, operates, tends, stops, and cleans machines. Inspects work to ensure products meet specifications listed in the manufacturing work order.
Operator Duties
o Responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product
o Assist team members with production line assignments.
o Perform setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment.
o Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
o Ensure conformance to manufacturing work orders.
o Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work order.
o Pull damaged or ineffective material off the line.
o Tag reels for identification.
o Spool & Measure length of products
o Read and interpret gauges.
o Record data.
o Clean production area.
o Work in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures.
o Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition.
o Take instructions from supervisors.
o Perform other duties as required or directed.
Pay rate will be determined by the ability to adequately perform work center tasks and qualify as a trained operator in particular work areas. All inexperienced operators will start at an entry level work center and will be trained and assessed if qualified for additional work center cross training. Your pay rate is determined by you and your ability to understand and operate equipment to company standards.
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience: Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)
Shift availability: Day Shift (Required)
Ability to Commute: Los Angeles, CA 90061 (Required)
Standard shift: 5a-1:30p Monday thru Friday
Overtime & Saturday work will be required as necessary
