I have 2 units, 1 new in box and 1 with maybe 300 miles on it.
No issues with these and my current daily driver uses a dynatek ignition.
Note: Fits Carbureted models only.
For the chopper guys, can eliminate your TSSM TSM and simplify your bike to crank and map sensors only.
Also have an accel super coil and use good condition stock coil (no issues warm or cold) if you need a complete ignition setup.
Dyna TC88-3 is a single fire, fully programmed performance ignition with 16 programmable advance curves and eight rev limiter settings. All functions feature full digital accuracy and full J1850 compatibility with all stock devices. Coil compatibility from stock to performance (less than 1 ohm resistance). Coil current constantly monitored to provide constant full spark energy. Utilizes all stock sensors, stock O.E. connectors and the stock O.E. mounting. Reverse battery and spike protection are also built-in.
Dynatech TC88-3 ignitions signal a new era in carbureted Harley-Davidson® Twin Cam ignition power and capability. The TC88-3 provides an extremely wide range and high level of advance curve functionality for Twin Cam engines with eight different rev limiter settings from 5750 to 7250 rpm (in 250 rpm steps). All TC88-3 functions have full digital accuracy to ensure maximum performance with unparalleled quality.
