Though it's been reissued by DOD in recent years, the DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 started as a little grey beast in the '80s. The grey 250 typically goes for a lot more than its yellow successor, but to many people they have almost indiscernible differences in tone. This is a pretty early one from 1981. I recently had it serviced, just cleaned a little and electronic cleaner used. I wrote down the Pot Codes while doing so and it was R1378111, this dates to 1981. It also has a input for a power adapter thats metal, the newer reissues are plastic. I actually never had a power adapter that fits it, I use a 9 volt inside the pedal and just installed one. This pedal is all original, including the knobs. If you can find one in this condition online they are always $125+ and usually most are modified or missing the original knobs. Mine does have some finish chips to the yellow paint, although id call it pretty minor finish issues for a almost 40 year old pedal. I use this for bass but I will have a guitar set up for you to test it through, or bass. Let me know what youd like to test it with.
