• Condition is Excellent showing very little players wear and only minor blemishes, overall it has been well cared for and it presents beautifully as the pictures show.

• This guitar sounds and plays well with low action, excellent frets and optimal neck relief
• Electra Custom Super Magnum 2258 Electric Guitar, made briefly from 1974-76, by the famed Matsumoku factory in Japan. This rare Electra features the Les Paul Custom design, including maganuflux humbucking pickups . It has the 'open book' Gibson-style headstock, with a beautiful, genuine abalone torch inlay. In 1974, the Electra 2257 was Electra's the top-of-the-line, most expensive guitar, with a retail price of $425 which would be around $3500 today.
• The Electra "Tree Of Life" guitars were state of the art (and works of art) in their time and even today.
• Electra guitars were imported from Japan by Saint Louis Music (SLM) of Saint Louis, Missouri from 1971 to 1984 (most MPC models were made by Matsumoku of Matsumoku, Japan) . Matsumoku has made many popular guitar brands over the years including; Aria, Westbury, Westone, Epiphone, Vantage & Vox to name but a few.
