Gretsch USA Custom in 60's Marine Pearl - $3,000 (West Hollywood)

I purchased this kit a few years back from a guy in Connecticut while on the road and he bought it from a drum shop in Florida. Still have the receipt somewhere.
Original kit was 12, 13, 16, 22. I got the 10 and the 14 made directly from Gretsch shortly after purchasing in 2024. I later had Pro Drum Shop in Hollywood add direct-to-shell mounts to the 12 and 13 because the RIMS mount is too bulky for my taste. It literally affects the tonality in no audible way. The drums still sing just as they did before. Never had the direct-to-shell mount added to the 10" because that just never got much use.
This kit is in great condition besides some normal bass drum hoop rash (pictured). Sounds excellent just as all of the USA Customs do. Only getting rid of it because I'm on the hunt for a 50's Gretsch kit and I don't have room for all of these drums. Thought I wanted a USA Custom shell bank but ended up really only using the 22, 13, 16 most of the time.
