Hi! I'm helping my dad sell this super cool vintage 1969-1971 Les Paul "Recording" Bass (Walnut) in its original condition. Only modifications made were a repaired headstock, though it's 100% stable. My dad is a working bass player and used the bass with its repaired headstock for years, and can confirm it works great. This bass is Les Paul's first foray into using low impedance pickups for recording basses. My dad is only selling because, frankly, he has a rather large collection of basses and this one is a bit too heavy for him to play live (he's 70). However, he's on hand to answer questions for serious buyers.
Please see photos for typical wear and tear seen in a 50+ year old instrument. Selling this bass with a soft bag.
