Used by St. Vincent, Deadmau and even NIN frontman Trent Reznor, the DRM1 is a very immediate drum synth with manual one to one control over every function that allows you to really shape the sound on kick, snares, hi hat, etc. You can even double up tracks via midi (so one pad can trigger two channels at the same time) which is what I did for the bass drum to give it more depth and punch. There is no shifting or menu diving or any menus at all. Every channel also has inserts for fx. So you can apply an external effect with pedals to each of eight drum elements. Downside: no sequencer. But I used this with a Beatstep Pro which is really far better than any internal sequencer. In mint condition. Just purchased this new earlier this year. Original owner, non smoker, never gigged so has lived full time in my studio. This is the higher end version with trigger inputs.
