Established Dark and Heavy METAL band QAALM is searching for a new bass player. Synths and keys is a huge plus. We play a mix of melancholic DEATH METAL, melodic DOOM Metal, progressive ROCK, Post-rock and atmospheric BLACK METAL : UK Doom / Swedish Death / Prog-Rock / Norwegian Black Metal. Early Peaceville, Relapse, Century Media, Roadrunner and Nuclear Blast bands, etc.
We have a melodic European sound with both clean/extreme vocals and a lot of different influences. We are looking for someone with serious chops. Please be professional, openminded, technically proficient, have decent gear and a solid tone. Please be familiar with the genre. Must be dedicated, able to learn the songs, show up to rehearsals at least once a week, play shows and tour in the near future. Live/Studio experience is required. We have 3 releases under our belt: 2 full length albums and an EP. We have a record label, press, reviews, videos, show offers, etc.
