Got a "cat from hell," or super shy kitty that doesn't do well with strangers?
Meany cats, crazy cats, weird cats, peculiar cats, scaredy cats...are all my specialty! I never met one I didn't love or couldn't win over.
I offer specialized, behavioral coaching services to help you better manage your home and your relationships with or between your pets.
Coaching services are offered remotely and in-home where warranted (or mix of both). Cost will vary depending on specifics. Flat rate for virtual consult by phone begins at $75. Follow-ups and package rates are available, with the option for adding in-home visit and assessment.
Services include:
-Helping you build trust with shy or hiding cat with yourself and/or friends and new people
-Helping manage your cat/s' stress and anxiety
-Easing tensions between cats
-Introducing cats to each other (new cat to existing cat, bringing new cat into home)
-Introducing cat to new person/significant other or helping bond with others
-Litter box issues (going outside, other places in home)
-Helping kitty adjust to baby (ideally preparing before baby is born)
-Moving with your cat / helping cats adjust to a move
-Additional research as needed
MY EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND
-Five seasons casting, interviewing, filming and assessing cats and their behavior for Animal Planet's "My Cat From Hell" (with Jackson Galaxy)
-Years of personal cat rescue experience, including socializing feral kittens (I also have an adult, indoor feral of my own and had one other prior that passed away in 2023.)
-Experience helping clients build trust and relationships with shy/hiding cats and kittens, introduce or reintroduce cats, and help cats get along better with each other
-Eight years of cat-sitting experience - all kinds! Ones that never come out (they came out); ones that terrorize guests; ones that need a four-course song and dance in order to eat, lol
-One year volunteering on-site at cat rescue, managing 50 cats on average in a single room
-One year serving as a board member for local cat rescue
