Virtually perfect, no scratches, never dropped. Replaced original leatherette with Japanese Lizard leather, it looks fantastic.
Shutter count just over 4,000!
It comes with its full original box, with manuals, papers, cables, charger, 3 batteries. It only needs a lens on it (I MAY sell some of my M mount lenses too, we shall see).
"What about the sensor?" My previous one, the black one, was sent to Leica back in the days to have the sensor replaced, it was displaying some of the known issues. Let's dispel a myth: IT WAS NOT CORROSION. The original sensors did not CORRODE, they failed bacause the wrong adhesive was being used to attach the cover glass to the sensor, and eventually moisture would creep in and wreak havoc.
When I bought this one, it too had some spots; I sent it to Kolari Vision, they replaced the front glass and installed a new one, now the sensor is as good as new and it will never fail again.
Overall a beautiful camera, which produces the BEST black and white images I ever took. Unfortunately, I am now not doing the type of photography that would benefit from it, and so it just rests on a shelf; it is a shame, these cameras are made to shoot images!
