Do you need a ride to the Monterey area? I'm driving up Sunday, October. 19, leaving the Glendale area around 2 PM and arriving in Monterey around 7:30 PM. I can drop you off anywhere between LA and Monterey, like San Luis Obispo, Paso Robles or Salinas. It's a 5-6 hour drive.
I'm pretty flexible in where I pick you up. Just let me know your starting point and your final destination.
* I can also transfer stuff.
$60 - 80 cash, depending on the pick up and drop off location.
* * Please email me and let me know your starting point AND your destination and we will figure it out. If it's far from the route, I'll ask you to pitch in $10-20 extra.
* * * Email your name and phone number, where you're going, and where I need to pick you up. I will call you and we'll figure out the details via to make sure that we're both comfortable with the plan.
* * * * Please write a little bit about yourself and what brings you up north.
I'm open to pick you up anywhere, including downtown LA (especially if you take the Metro or Metrolink to Union Station).
I've done Rideshare at least 30 times in the past 10 years, and have always had good experiences.
A little bit about me: I'm a public school teacher, taught in LA for over 10 years, and now teach in Monterey. I'm also a political activist, well traveled, well educated, healthy, male, 57, and easy going. I have a 2021 Subaru Forester and have a great driving record. I drive part time for Ubbberrr and have a perfect. 5.0 rating.
You: easy going, healthy, considerate, good hygiene, can enjoy a good conversation, some good music or podcast and even some silence and just enjoy the views.
We'll likely stop once for gas, a restroom visit, and some food, but I'm hoping that this will just be a 15-20 minute stop. I anticipate a 5.5 hour drive. I usually drive between 60 - 70 MPH, with the flow of traffic.
* If the post is still up, I still have room. I'll delete it when I have 1 person.
