The Ranch has it's first vacancy in four years.
What is The Ranch?
The Ranch is a 4 bedroom/1.75 bath (the back bathroom is a shower and toilet) 1905 single floor craftsman. As the house has been standing for over 100 years, it comes with it's quirk and charm. The fenced in property has a front garden and fire pit and back area space for our fur resident to run around in. The house does require creative upkeep. This rustic gem is not for the faint of heart or patio prince/cess. Common indoor spaces include a furnish living room/dining space (in window AC unit), kitchen (no dishwasher), pantry, back room with washer/dryer on site. Private parking is available in the back.
Who is at The Ranch?
We are all professionals in our 30s who fall within the LGBTQ+ family.
One of us just finished graduate school and will begin working towards his clinical license in the late fall. Has lived at the ranch for 10+ years. Has an allergy to cats and bunnies.
One of us works in the art world and is an actress. Has lived at the ranch for 4 years.
One of us works in hospitality and is an actor. Has lived at the ranch for 4 years.
One of us is a ten year old 40 lb pit/hound mix rescue who has lived here since he was 9 months old. At times primary owner is out of town due to work or pleasure. Housemate responsibilities including maintaining his feeding schedule twice a day and letting him outside to pee/poop. Cuddle and play are not expected but appreciated. Will bark loudly at the gate and will run and maintain a safe distance with strangers.
Who are you?
You are a queer human in your 30s who enjoys a communal way of living. You have experience living with others outside of your initial family unit. You are low maintenance, cooperative, social, independent, and responsible. You have a full time job, hobbies, and a strong sense of who you are. Another dog is allowed on property. If you have a dog, extra meeting time of the pups will be required before consideration. No cats/bunnies/squirrels and the like.
The Room:
Pics of the room are attached. Traditional space with closet with an additional back space that was created by an old roommate around 6 years ago. We refer to it as the book nook. Previous tenant worked from home and created a mini home office space.
Rent is $800 a month. Moving in requires first month and deposit.
Additional costs: Gas, electric, biweekly cleaner, shared household items, internet, occasional yard work professional.
