Looking for a new roommate in a beautiful East Side Craftsman. $1500/month (covers gardener and maid)
The House: Located in Mount Washington/ Cypress Park- the house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a massive kitchen, dining room, living room, front porch, and a crazy three-tiered backyard which has made it infamous among the friends for picnics, barbeques and because right now one of the tiers is a fully stocked gym, complete with benches, bars, and surround sound.
The People: Roommates are Lizzy (Female, mid-30s) and Tim ( Male, early 40s), and two cats (Frankie and Antoinette) who mostly hang outside.
*Note: Tim is currently looking for a new home (needs a workshop), so there are possibly two rooms open. Ideally, transitioning the house to a more femme-forward community style house.
The Vibe: The house is massive, so the roommates need to talk and work together to keep it functional. Things that we do together is maintaining the massive veggie garden, keeping the communal space clean, and throwing dinner parties/events. Preference goes to creatives who would be willing to dedicate more of the house to studio space. I am a painter and would prefer roommates who are proactive in their art or gardening. We keep it professional on school nights and let people know if we plan to have guests over, but the house is really great for hosting. The top tier of the yard is so far away that you can kind of get up to anything without the other roommates knowing.
The Ideal Roommate: Looking to fill one, possibly two rooms by December. If you want to pay $2800 and take over the entire 2nd floor ( two bedrooms, private bathroom) that would also be ideal for a couple or two friends.
