This 3rd floor space is basically 8'x12' with a 10' ceiling, a bed loft, and a large (~3'x5'x12') storage in the room. This room has a north-facing windows on one wall which does not open. We'll post photos of the space as soon as we're finished renovating, and the photos shown are of the other shared common areas in the house.
We have 5 shared common areas, 5 full and 1 half-baths, 5 kitchens and a recording-studio/live room with a separate control room.
US: a small community of musicians sharing 5 floors of an old brewery. Age range is basically 25-65. We are not a "party house" and we don't have and are not band rehearsal spaces, but we do have fun, keep a chill, low-drama atmosphere and a clean, proud-to-show-your-friends kinda place.
YOU: Should be an easy-going, employed, and reliable musician who is comfortable living in a vibrant community with a great bunch of like-minded-folks. You enjoy playing with other musicians. You are looking for a real industrial loft, and not an apartment/condo called a "loft".
This room is a "live instrument" floor/space which allows 1 (one) musician to practice in their room from noon-11pm, and is suitable for loud instruments.
FINE PRINT: Electric, cable TV, internet, & water, are an additional $125 monthly. Proof of ability to pay, references, one month deposit due at signing. Flexible term length.
BOTTOM LINE: $1195/month (discounted $100/month for the first 3 months) includes electric, internet, water, a private room, access to a crowd of musician roommates, as well as use of 4 floors of common areas, bathrooms and kitchens.
