The Room + Building:
Unfurnished Private room and bath in 2 Bed/2 Bath, top floor, corner apartment. Hardwood floors throughout, new carpet in bedrooms, non tandem garage parking (EV parking can be worked out with mgmt), central AC, washer/dryer in bldg and you can pay with app, pool, jacuzzi, gated + secure building. Plenty of closet space with built in shelving and a 6 drawer dresser I put in. You’d really just need bed + desk. You’ll have your own balcony with view of the observatory. Kitchen has everything, but feel free to bring air fryer, coffee maker, whatever utensils/appliances you prefer. Living room has TV, Apple TV and network stereo. My previous roommates always had their own TV, usually wall mounted.

The Neighborhood:
East Hollywood - Thai Town. Walkability is fantastic - Ralphs, Lazy Acres, Target, Marshalls, Walgreens, Fed Ex, UPS, coffee shops, public transportation, Los Feliz, Griffith Park and all the Thai food you can imagine. I haven’t had a car in 6 years and I truly love the area (just hit 11 years here).

Me:
39, M, military brat but parents are from Puerto Rico. At the moment, you could say I’m on a sabbatical stemming from a head injury 2 years ago. It gave me perspective on what’s really important, so I’m focusing on my health and wellbeing via fitness, meditation, reading, learning new things (photography + guitar) and will likely be traveling. I enjoy going to shows, exploring neighborhoods and want to get outdoors more. I’m clean, considerate and keep to myself mostly. Looking for the same in a roommate, but if you ever want to watch a movie or something, that’s cool too.

You:
- Verifiable income, good credit + application required from mgmt - $30. You’ll be on the lease but we’ll sign a roommate agreement that lays out the arrangement between you and I (rate + duration).
- No preference on gender or your beliefs - just be a decent human with common sense
- Millennials, introverts and creative types highly preferred
- Non smoking preferred, but you will have your own balcony.
- No common area furniture. But if you have plants, bring em!
- Clean, mature, communicative - sharing of common household items and duties (paper towels, trash bags, cleaning, etc).
- No parties or frequent guests.
- I’d be OK with a quiet, well trained pet if you are a really good fit. I love dogs! However, you’ll be responsible for the $50 pet rent mgmt will tack on.
- If something is not working, we talk about it and if we don’t resolve, we’ll just sign a form that releases you from the lease. Simple.

**If this seems like a fit, please reach out to introduce yourself and coordinate a meet and greet. Include any socials, work, what you’re into, reason for moving, things that worked and didn’t work in previous living arraignments …the usual stuff somebody you might live with should know. Thanks and happy hunting!

- Joe
