Blueprint Test Preparation is seeking two Student Advisors to add to our Student Success Team. This is a full time position, located at our Los Angeles office.

What You'll Do:
The Student Advisor will be the main contact for prospective LSAT and MCAT students and will help them find the best prep options as they navigate the world of law and med school entrance exams, admissions, and applications.
***This is primarily a sales-driven role, with some additional operational and administrative support provided as necessary. Much of this position involves giving helpful, accurate, and expert information to all pre-law and pre-med students, regardless of their study plan choice. ***
Your success will be measured based on enrollment growth and student satisfaction, with the opportunity to make up to a 20% additional bonus for reaching both individual and company goals. This is an excellent position for someone who is seeking to grow their career in sales within the test prep industry while actively utilizing their creativity and critical thinking skills.
Provide exceptional support for prospective students via phone, email, and live chat.
Help students select and enroll in which Blueprint or Next Step prep option works best for them.
Assist in the onboarding and ongoing support process, including first response support for our online tech products and services.
Establish rapport with prospective students; you will often wear many hats, which can include adviser, mentor and friend.
Other duties as needed: assisting with operational projects, updating FAQ’s/Help Center articles, conducting data-driven research, and more.
What You'll Need To Get The Job Done:
Bachelor's degree (minimum)
**1-3 years of experience in sales (emphasis in the test prep industry a plus)**
Prior working knowledge of the LSAT or MCAT is a huge plus, but not required
Excellent communication skills, both in writing and over the phone
Passionate about talking to students all day, every day
An empathetic personality- you'll often be speaking with students who are under pressure from their upcoming exam, so it's important to make them feel heard and supported
The ability to work under pressure (you may not always know the answer to a question), and juggle multiple channels of communication (chat, email, phone) simultaneously
General tech knowledge (video streaming, smart-phones, mobile devices, computers and browsers, etc.)
