Skilled Contractor Wanted, Work for Equity in a Growing Business (4500 sqft project)
Hey there,
We're a team in the process of launching a scalable business out of a 4500 sq ft commercial space, and we're looking for a reliable, experienced contractor to help us wrap up the final buildout in exchange for equity - 90% of work has been completed.
Instead of paying cash up front, we’re offering 5% equity in the business and this isn’t some pie-in-the-sky idea. We’ve already got traction in the form of signed agreements and the business is set to be revenue-positive within 60 days of project completion. Your investment will see dividends the first month we reach positive revenue.
After that, we’re aiming to lock in a second location, and if the partnership works, you’ll be first in line to handle the next build (with budgeted cash).
Here’s what needs to be done:
* Interior paint (we don't have the paint yet)
* Less than 100 sq ft of drywall (we don't have drywall)
* Interior door frame installs (we have the doors)
* Hooking up 3 bathroom sinks (plumbing is already in place)
* Some minor floor finishing (we already have the materials)
* Minor plumbing - running existing plumbing to shared room in two rooms
* Installing one large exterior glass window (the space is currently a garage door—we don't have the glass yet)
The value of work needed is roughly $20–30K.
We're looking for someone who:
* Can work fairly quickly
* Sees the value in sweat equity
* Wants to be part of something that can grow quickly
* Likes the idea of future paid work and long-term collaboration
If you’re a hands-on contractor with vision and hustle, and you’re open to equity as compensation, let’s talk. We’re good people building something real, and we want to find someone who’s on that same wavelength.
Shoot us a message with a little about you, your experience, and we’ll go from there.
Thanks!
