Well-established, growing real estate company seeks honest, energetic, confident, organized leasing agent to join our team.
Your role: Help us find qualified tenants to move into our beautiful (& generally either recently-renovated or recently-built) apartments.
This is a great position for someone looking for an extra $2,000-4,000 / month working a flexible schedule, mostly nights and weekends. (If you are good, we'll eventually give you full new buildings to lease and you can earn more.)
No leasing experience is needed; training & listings will be provided. But you must have your California Real Estate Sales Agent license and be willing to hang your license with us.
Our office is on the Eastside, but the apartments you would be leasing are all over the city, so you need to have a license and reliable transportation.
We have had very good luck with people who are pursuing their passion (acting, music, etc.) and need a flexible side-gig.
Duties:
- Create online ads for vacant apartments (we will help with this)
- Respond quickly to incoming calls / texts / emails
- Arrange and attend showings
- Answer questions & convince prospective tenants they should rent from us (They should; we're good managers!)
- Arrange lease signings (in collaboration with office staff)
- Provide weekly updates to leasing manager regarding inbound interest in listings
Compensation:
Commission of roughly $450-1,000 per signed lease (you keep 100% of this). After you train, we'll start by giving you one unit to lease, with an experienced agent mentoring you. Once you show us you know what you're doing, we'll start giving you more and more units.
Note: Applicants reaching the final interviews will be subject to credit / background check. Not expecting perfection, but need to make sure you’re trustworthy.
To apply, please send over a short email about yourself with a link to one of your social media profiles (LinkedIn, Instagram, whatever). Please include the word "Green" in the subject line (means nothing; we just do this to make sure you're paying attention).
