From one of the most reliable and functional winter performance brands, Hestra, this is a pair of (their current equivalent) Heli-Ski gloves. With long wrist coverage, these gloves are the best way to protect your hands from extreme temps, wind and precip on the mountain or playing around in deep snow. Constructed from a super durable cotton/polyester blend, the palms and fingers are finished in strong, heavily dyed leather.
The interiors are lined with 100% wool/fleece removable glove liners.
The leather throughout shows evidence of use and needs to be waxed and maintained in order to maintain water resistance and performance. Proper care will ensure many more years of use.
These gloves are extremely warm, soft and incredibly comfortable. Functionally, these gloves are extra long and have the ability to be velcro-ed more tightly at the wrist, cinched down at the top of the wrist, and have elastic bands that allow the gloves to hang from your wrists when inside.

As a pre-owned item, these gloves were heavily used. They are durable and well made. Signs of wear included leather wear and weather discoloration. The interior removeable wool liners have been stained by the leather dye. There are small holes on the lining thumbs - see photos. None of these defects affect function. The leather must be specially waxed and maintained in order to achieve and maintain water-resistance.
