Plays and records from a mic which does work. Although the mic works, I did not test to see if it still records to a tape.
Mic also acts like a little PA system, maybe karaoke, too? I am not familiar with all the features. I inherited it and only used to listen to tapes because it is so durable. As of right now, it still plays tapes. It has yellowed with age.
Tape that came with the unit is gone. No DC 6V power supply cord if there was ever one. Those can be bought on amazon for under $10 with universal adaptors.
This player still sells quite well on the Bay. When I checked, none were for sale but over a dozen were in the SOLD pages.
Uses 4 C Batteries. No corrosion in battery compartment.
This is probably 1992. There are slight variations in this model from year to year. The photos should clarify most questions.
