A Day in the Life

We are currently seeking a Field Support Engineer to provide onsite support to some of our key clients. An IT Consulting background or history of Field Support experience is greatly preferred as this role requires high energy, a strong in-person presence and the ability to provide daily support to executive level personnel working within the non-profit, financial, marketing and technology industries. This position will require a valid driver's license in order for the field support engineer to commute between clients.

Techie Aptitude

Consulting Skillset: Intermediate
Troubleshooting Experience/Ability: Intermediate

Product Technical Knowledge:

Ability to provide advanced end user support in an enterprise environment
Ability to support Windows 7/10/2008R2/2012 & Mac Operating Systems
Advanced troubleshooting support of Office 2013/2016/O365
Basic understanding of Active Directory; Adding / Removing Users & Groups
Basic understanding of Windows Server Operating Systems & Services
Advanced ability to troubleshoot local and remote access & connectivity issues
Basic knowledge of networking devices (Firewall/Router/Switch/WAP) and protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP

Human Aptitude

Verbal Communication - Advanced
Written Communication - Advanced
Customer Service - Advanced
Presentation Communication - Advanced
Analytical/Problem Solving - Intermediate

Candidate must have one of the following or be willing to obtain within 6 months of employment: MCITP, MCDST, MOUS, ITIL, VCA, CCA
