We are looking for actors and creative performers in Los Angeles who live with other actors/creatives—or who actively spend time in a house/apartment that functions as an actor-community living environment. This is for a Japanese TV documentary that airs nationwide, following young talent pursuing success in Hollywood. A small film crew from Japan will be filming in LA for about two weeks from the end of January through the beginning of February 2026.
We want to document:
• daily life routines
• going to work / day jobs
• acting classes
• auditions & self-taping
• networking gatherings
• community interactions with housemates
• your personal journey, hopes, and challenges
Requirements:
• Age generally 20s–mid 30s, any race/ethnic background welcome
• Aspiring actor/performer/creator pursuing career in LA (NO acting experience required)
• Lives with other actors/creatives
• Comfortable being filmed for documentary purposes
You:
• Passionate, driven, not afraid to share your real story, challenges, hopes, dreams
• Open, communicative, and collaborative
Compensation:
• Honorarium
• Final film will air on a major Japanese broadcaster
