Route & Equipment Details:
• Home Terminal Locations: Los Angeles, CA
• Home Time: Every 3 weeks.
• Bonus: Stay out for 3 weeks consistently and earn a monthly bonus.
• Mileage: Approximately 4,500-6,200 miles/week.
• Equipment: 2024 Peterbilt 579 trucks.
• Freight Type: 53 ft. dry van, drop and hook only.
• Team Driving: Preference for established driving teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No history of at-fault fatality accidents.
• Pass a comprehensive background check, drug test, and Clearinghouse login.
• Additional Requirements:
• Minimum Insurance age: 23 years old.
• Experience handling hazardous materials.
• No SAP program participants.
Responsibilities:
• Operate a tractor-trailer to transport freight over long distances, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
• Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws.
• Secure cargo properly for transit (minimal loading/unloading required).
• Maintain accurate driving logs, route details, and delivery records.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate routes and schedules. Be responsive to customers and dispatch.
• Most loads are non-hazardous, but Hazmat endorsement is preferred.
