Job Details:
OTR DRIVER ( OVER THE ROAD)
Equipment: 26’ Box Truck (Automatic) with Tuck-under Liftgate.
Route Type: Local and Regional (Amazon Relay & Broker Loads).
Schedule: [Monday – Sunday, early morning starts].
Compensation: [Paid By load] – Paid Weekly.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum [1-2] years of OTR experience preferred.
**SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND ENGLISH**
Amazon Relay: Must be 100% proficient with the Amazon Relay App (Facility check-ins, navigation, and BOLs).
Road Life: Must be willing to be over-the-road
License: Valid Class C License with a clean MVR (No recent DUIs or major violations).
Compliance: Strong understanding of ELD (Electronic Logging Device) and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
Communication: Must be reachable and provide regular check-calls/status updates.
License: Valid Driver’s License (Class C) (REAL ID ONLY)
Experience: Minimum [1-2] years of BoxTruck driving experience preferred.
Tech Savvy: Must be proficient with the Amazon Relay App (checking in/out, Scaning Post office Pallets, navigating Warehouses facilities).
Safety: Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and ability to pass a background check/drug screen.
Physical: Ability to use a pallet jack and secure loads with straps.
Availability: Must be punctual; Amazon has strict arrival windows.
Responsibilities:
Safe operation of vehicle over long distances and in varying weather conditions.
Punctual arrival for strict Amazon "mishap" windows.
Securing loads using straps/load bars to prevent damage during long-haul transit.
Handling paperwork and digital BOLs via smartphone.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Check Truck Liquid Fluids (Daily) DEF and OIL
Safely navigate to Amazon Fulfillment Centers and various broker locations.
Maintain constant communication with dispatch and use the Relay App for every move.
