Responsibilities of the Transportation Dispatcher:
- Maintaining a healthy relationship with customers and drivers
- Booking the day with enough work for the entire fleet
- Tracking of all shipments for mandatory on time pickups and deliveries, updating system and customers accordingly
- Assisting drivers with all of their dispatching needs
- Acting as a communication liaison for the driver and customers, answering incoming phone calls from drivers on the road
- Communicating company policies and procedures to drivers, monitoring performance against set standards and procedures, and recommending corrective actions to management
-Assist Dispatches as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and afternoons
- Must be able to work an after-hours phone rotation, remotely from home, one week per month
- The ability to work in a team environment under high-pressure situations
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
-MUST BE Fluent in English and Spanish

Monday – Friday at the Office and some weekends from home
8am-4:30pm
